Joins the Borderless.xyz Network, Unlocking Local Payouts and Collections Across Asia Pacific and Latin America

Tazapay is now live on the Borderless.xyz network. The partnership extends the network's coverage across Asia Pacific and deepens it in Latin America. Customers reach both through the integration they already have with Borderless.
About Tazapay
Tazapay is headquartered in Singapore and licensed there as a Major Payment Institution by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. They run payouts and collections over domestic rails in markets including Singapore, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Australia, plus Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia.
Tazapay’s virtual accounts give businesses local account details in domiciles including Singapore, Australia, the UK, and the UAE. On the payout side, money moves over each market's domestic rails where Tazapay has built them, and over SWIFT for the long tail of currencies beyond. Settlement in USDC and USDT across the major chains ties it together, which is what makes the coverage usable for a client that holds stablecoins.
None of that is quick to assemble. Behind every market sits a license and a set of banking relationships, and behind every payout sits working connectivity into that country's domestic rails. Tazapay spent years building those assets, and it is the deepest Asia Pacific coverage a client can reach through one connection.
What this looks like in practice
Consider a commerce platform paying merchants across Asia Pacific and Latin America. It typically runs a separate provider relationship in every market it pays into, each with its own contract and KYB file, and each settling on its own timing for someone to reconcile at the end of the week. Correspondent banking sits underneath much of it, layering fees at each hop and adding delays that are hard to trace.
The cost isn't only administrative. A merchant seller waiting on a payout can't restock, and a listing that goes out of stock loses rank and loses sales. The delay shows up as lost sales in someone else's business, which is why it eventually shows up as churn in yours.
On Borderless.xyz, the platform holds stablecoins and each payout lands as local currency in the seller's own bank account. Behind those markets sit Tazapay's licensing and rail connectivity. The payout arrives as a domestic transfer rather than an international wire, where the receiving bank takes its own FX spread and its own fee and the seller gets an amount that doesn't match the invoice. Collections run the same way in reverse: virtual accounts give the platform's customers local account details, so paying looks like paying a local business rather than wiring money abroad.
One integration replaces a provider per market, and adding the tenth market takes zero engineering days.
The shape of the partnership
The Borderless.xyz network is a single API into 113+ countries through 19+ direct, locally licensed onramp and offramp providers. We decide how client volume routes across them, watch how each one performs in production, and diligence every provider before a single transaction goes through.
We're glad to have Tazapay on the network. They've built the kind of local depth that takes years along with reliability at scale.
Tazapay's local execution now sits in front of every connected client through one commercial relationship. For us it means we can extend Borderless’s coverage both in breadth and depth. This means nine markets our clients can now turn on without an extended sourcing cycle, new integration, or additional negotiations.
The demand we're seeing from enterprises and fintechs across Asia Pacific is unmistakable. Businesses there want to move money faster and at lower cost, and our clients want to reach them," said Alex Garn, Chief Product Officer at Borderless. "This is exactly what we built Borderless to do: extend the network's reach across Asia Pacific and its depth in Latin America, and hand it to every client through the connection they already run, with Tazapay's local rails behind every corridor. - Alex Garn Chief Product Officer, Borderless.xyz
Expanding globally shouldn't mean navigating a fragmented payments landscape market by market. Through this partnership, Borderless clients get Tazapay's infrastructure local collection and payout rails, virtual accounts, and modern settlement options through a single API. We've spent years building that depth across APAC, and putting it within reach of more businesses is what makes entering a new market genuinely simpler. - Rahul Shinghal, CEO Tazapay
