Lehtiniitty further explained the scale of global transactions and the enormous growth opportunities unlocked by cutting transaction costs. “There are trillions upon trillions of dollars moving at scale,” he said. “If you disintermediate half the transaction costs, you’re unlocking unprecedented growth opportunities.”

Both panelists agreed on the transformative potential of stablecoins, noting that these innovations would reshape global commerce by unlocking new liquidity, reducing costs, and accelerating innovation.
